Guest Contributor Invitation

Guidelines for submitting blog posts

Are you a musical theatre professional interested in helping encourage and equip aspiring performers? We’d love to have you as a guest contributor.

While we reserved the right to not publish articles that do not align with our standard of publication, we offer these guidelines for those who would like to be considered for guest posts.

Your post must be on one of these topics:

  • Auditioning
  • Vocal Health
  • Vocal Technique
  • Career Planning
  • Craft

  • You may provide up to three links: one for your blog or website, one for a bio or about page, and one social media link (optional).
  • Your post should be at least 500 words long.

  • We reserved the right to copyedit your post for grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. If substantive changes are made (unlikely), you will receive an emailed proof of the revised article before posting.
  • We may provide a short introduction or conclusion to your post to provide context or the rationale as to why we think the post is important. We will make sure our comments are set off from yours stylistically, so that our readers are clear that these are our thoughts and not yours.

We understand the work that it takes to write a blog post. However, the fact that you have written and submitted a post does not guarantee it will be published. Guest posts are published according to the value they add to the site and its readers.
